Meet the Manager
Angela Smith
Hello, I’m Angela, the Registered Manager at Westfield Lodge, and have been a qualified Nurse for 13 years. I have a BSc honours degree in nursing and a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Adults.
Since qualifying as a health care professional, I have worked solely in elderly care. I am passionate about elderly care, and I strive to make a difference in the lives of others, which incorporates a person-centred approach. I consider myself an excellent communicator and very approachable, who strives to enhance the residents’ lives to the full.
I have led a successful team at Westfield Lodge for over 11 years, and the team have achieved the top 20 care home in the West Midlands in 2024 and 2025.
We offer 48 rooms, and the majority are en-suite bedrooms, each thoughtfully designed to serve as a personal haven for our residents. For those who choose Westfield Lodge as their forever home, we tailor every aspect of care to the individual. Pre-admission assessments ensure we can meet each resident’s needs safely and effectively, including complex care requirements where possible. We provide a wide range of care services to meet diverse needs, ensuring each resident receives personalised support. From dementia and nursing care to end-of-life support and respite stays, our experienced team delivers high-quality care every day.
