Our Mission
It is the objective of Haresbrook Park to provide accommodation and personal care to all of our residents, which exceeds the minimum standards, and embraces the principles of good care practises as outlined in the General Social Care Council Codes of Practise.
Providing a safe, warm & friendly environment for its residents
Residential Care
Residential care refers to long-term care given to adults or children who stay in a residential setting rather than in their own home or family home, this includes but is not limited to people with disabilities, mental health problems, learning difficulties, Alzheimer’s, dementia or who are frail aged. If home based care is not available or appropriate for the individual then residential care may be required. Quality of life is always an important consideration, particularly as we get older. Choosing to live in a care home can make a dramatic difference to individuals finding it harder to manage on their own, or who need more help than they currently receive. Haresbrook Park is our residential home, where all of our services focus on maintaining people’s dignity, catering to their individual needs and creating a warm, safe community environment where they feel a strong sense of belonging and enjoy a great quality of life.
Respite Care
Many families take great joy in providing care and support to their loved ones, so that they can remain at home, whether on a full time, part time or informal basis. However, the physical, emotional and financial consequences can be overwhelming without support for those care givers. Respite care is the provision of short-term accommodation in a facility outside the home in which a loved one may be placed. This provides temporary relief to those who are caring for family members, who might otherwise require permanent placement in a facility outside the home. Respite care has been shown to help sustain family caregiver health, avoid or delay placement in a residential home and reduce the likelihood of abuse and neglect. We offer respite care programmes at all three of our homes, giving individuals a positive experience for a set period in a warm and loving environment.
