Meet the Manager
Debbie Dale

I’m proud to be the Manager of Town Thorns. I bring with me over 20 years of experience in the care sector, working across various roles that have deepened my understanding and commitment to providing high-quality, person-centred care.

Throughout my career, I’ve been dedicated to supporting individuals with dignity, compassion, and respect. My journey in care has taught me the importance of building strong relationships not just with residents, but also with their families and the wider community. As a manager, my focus is on creating a safe, welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and heard.

I’m passionate about leading a team that truly makes a difference in people’s lives every day. At Town Thorns, we strive to promote independence, well-being, and the highest standards of care.

Town Thorns has recently undergone a major refurbishment and is now a modern 62-bed care home thoughtfully designed to provide a warm, supportive environment. The home is divided into smaller, close-knit houses, each named in recognition of the building’s history, allowing carers and residents to build strong relationships and ensuring individuals live alongside others with similar needs.

These houses are known as Worthington House, Spencer House and Herbert House, each fostering its own sense of community. Delivering excellent care is our highest priority, and we believe this is best achieved through a person-centred approach that respects and responds to each individual’s unique needs. No matter the level of care required, supporting residents’ physical and mental well-being remains central to everything we do. Our services include residential care, nursing care, dementia care, respite care and end-of-life care, all delivered with compassion, dignity and respect.
