Evedale Care Home is set in a peaceful residential area of Coventry, offering residents a warm, welcoming environment surrounded by greenery. Life at Evedale
Life at Evedale is vibrant and fulfilling, supported by our dedicated activities team who work closely with each resident to create engaging and tailored activity plans. From lively group events and community outings to quiet individual hobbies, we ensure every resident can enjoy meaningful and enjoyable days. Our thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor spaces encourage both socialising and relaxation, with several comfortable lounges and beautiful central gardens, including shaded gazebos and a potting garden with raised beds for those who enjoy gardening. We also offer the opportunity to book a private room for family celebrations, allowing loved ones to share special moments together.
We warmly welcome show rounds and drop-in visits, and before admission, we carry out a comprehensive needs assessment to ensure each resident receives the right care and support from the very beginning.
Meet the Manager
Carolyn Peacock
After working as a staff nurse in the NHS, I moved into social care, where I have spent the last 35 years- 17 of those in Home Manager roles across both nursing and residential care.
My ethos is simple: creating a person-centered, home-from-home environment where residents are truly at the heart of everything we do. This commitment is shared by our team at Evedale. We value open communication, mutual respect, and collaboration, working together to provide compassionate care and a welcoming atmosphere for every resident and their families.
It is a pleasure to be Home Manager at Evedale, and my door is always open to residents and their families. I welcome conversations about needs, experiences, and suggestions, and I look forward to continuing to make our beautiful home a place where everyone feels valued and supported
Our home offers 61 comfortable bedrooms, each with its own wash basin, designed to provide a welcoming and personal living space. Across two floors, we provide round-the-clock care and support.
Our highly trained team takes the time to get to know each individual resident, ensuring care is always delivered with professionalism, understanding, and compassion. Residents are treated with dignity and respect, and encouraged to maintain as much independence as possible, while knowing support is available whenever needed.
We recognise that moving into a care home can be an emotionally challenging experience, and we do everything we can to help residents feel settled and at home as quickly as possible. Our friendly and welcoming approach also provides families with reassurance and peace of mind, knowing their loved ones are in safe and capable hands.
