Residential care refers to long-term care given to adults or children who stay in a residential setting rather than in their own home or family home, this includes but is not limited to people with disabilities, mental health problems, learning difficulties, Alzheimer’s, dementia or who are frail aged.
If home based care is not available or appropriate for the individual then residential care may be required.
Quality of life is always an important consideration, particularly as we get older. Choosing to live in a care home can make a dramatic difference to individuals finding it harder to manage on their own, or who need more help than they currently receive.
Haresbrook House is our residential home, where all of our services focus on maintaining people’s dignity, catering to their individual needs and creating a warm, safe community environment where they feel a strong sense of belonging and enjoy a great quality of life.
