This will cover their personal and medical history, as well as a record of particular activities they enjoy and any cultural or religious aspects of their care.

Residents, and where appropriate their families, are involved as far as practical in the decisions regarding their care. Emphasis on all aspects of care is the Manager’s primary concern and, together with the experienced team of qualified staff, all adhere to rigorous standards with internal audits and checks.

At Westfield Lodge Care Home we have an excellent working relationship with the partners from the local GP practice. We very much recognise the importance of personal, individual communication between all members of the care team, be they carers, nurses, relatives or doctors, is essential.
