Our small, independent homes provide specialist, individually tailored care
Map of Life
We pride ourselves in treating each resident as an individual, with the dignity and respect they deserve. At all of our care homes we ensure our staff have the time and resources to get to know the residents they are caring for.
We celebrate the individuality of each resident through their Map of Life, which is their personal history, detailing key milestones and events through pictures.
When a new resident joins us they work with their carer and family to compile their Map of Life, if they choose to. Each map is a resident’s personal journey, detailing key events, likes and milestones through pictures, as well as continue to add to their journey whilst living at Capital Care to capture new memories.
The Map of Life give staff at our nursing homes the opportunity to get to know each resident, but also help our residents reminisce, share and continue creating new memories.
