Anville Court provides care for older people for whom may require personal care or nursing care. Personal care is offered to support the individual to ensure basic needs are taken care of, such as washing, eating, going to the toilet and taking medication. Nursing care is the provision of specialist care for those with a disability or mental conditions or for those individuals requiring more than personal care; e.g. those with wounds, colostomy bags, etc. At Anville Court we are registered to provide Nursing Care with friendly, highly qualified nursing staff in attendance 24-hours a day, the people we support are given the very best care and attention, continually tailored to meet their specific needs.
Many families take great joy in providing care and support to their loved ones, so that they can remain at home, whether on a full time, part time or informal basis. However, the physical, emotional and financial consequences can be overwhelming without support for those care givers. Respite care is the provision of short-term accommodation in a facility outside the home in which a loved one may be placed. This provides temporary relief to those who are caring for family members, who might otherwise require permanent placement in a facility outside the home. Respite care has been shown to help sustain family caregiver health, avoid or delay placement in a residential home and reduce the likelihood of abuse and neglect. We offer respite care programmes at all six of our homes, giving individuals a positive experience for a set period in a warm and loving environment.
